No idea what happened to him, there was no sign of a body, but I still got the infamy point, which was annoying for my strictly law-abiding character. Furthermore I got a point of infamy for "failing" the quest! Such was my experience. During the battle, Ulrich was killed and a message came up that this quest could not be completed (I had forgotten about it up until that point). So I reloaded the game, spent fifteen minutes pushing him down to the battle field and then begun the Bruma battle. The Count sent Ulrich to help, but I couldn't speak to him and he didn't follow my other allies into the fight. So I enquired a little about Ulrich, but didn't give the quest much thought and went forward with getting help for Bruma. When I first went through the main quest I skipped this quest and the first time I arrived in Cheydinhall was to recruit help for Bruma. This is of course just a minor bug and will probably not affect anything but still, I wonder what caused it and how I can really finish this quest. Also, the "Fines"-topic with the townsfolk doesnt change.
Because everytime I speak to Garros, I receive the same speech and I get rewarded again. I get the respective reward for killing Ulrich/giving Garros evidence and Garros leaves the inn to "report to the count".īut somehow the dialog doesnt change. Everything works smoothly until I actually finish the quest (marked as finished in my quest-log). I've got a bug after finishing the quest. Just pull it down and you will see a new talking option called "Ulrich Leland". You will see many talking options like "Directions" and "Cheydinhal". I had the same problem in another quest and I've figured out, that there are more talking options when you're talking to Garrus.
If anybody knows a trick to unblock this situation (other than reload the last saveguard) it would be very nice.

But the problem is after talking to Garrus, no update of the quest was made, and now I can't go further in this quest, as when I go to see Ulrich I can't even tell him to go to see Llevana.
